I need help understanding this
I took a picture of the sticker of the car in the handbook and was wondering what all these numbers are saying about my car.

The 3-digitnumbers are option codes, a list is in the New Visitor thread. The top number is your VIN. The other numbers are motor/transmission codes as noted in the text at the bottom. 928s4vr.com has info on engine and transmission codes by model year, I think.

Yes Bertrand, what a resourceful bunch of folks.
Thank you Steve.
What you called the option C36, I found is actually the country for the car, Canada, it's right at home !
L999 is the paint code it seems, some say it's called Viola, but I read somewhere that it's Prussian Blue, not sure.
My car has been repainted by the original owner a Pearl White, so that paint code doesn't matter if I need to buy some touch up paint ! I need to find some touch up paint for Pearl white !
The XE portion on the sticker not sure what it stands for, Xtreeme Engine.....!
Oh yeah almost forgot the 928 910 is the chassis type for the MY 83 to 86 US, all cool info.

Mine has been repainted Pearl White by the original owner.

Sorry to hear about your cracked leather and vinyl, but I'm sure over time those issues will be remedied.
In a few years I will get the car either repainted completely or just fix the few kicks here and there. I f I get it repainted it will be the same color, looks nice with a burgundy interior which is a mix of leather vinyl and some plush in the middle of the seats.

L999 is a special order color, metallic.
L998 is a Special order color, non-metallic.
In both case, this does not tell the actual paint used.
The paint name and color code is always on the door frame, on the driver side.
In your case, Andre, the pearl white could be original.
XE (or XH) is the inside code. It "could" tell the kind of material used and the colors, but to my knowledge only Porsche knows for sure how to decode it.
