Default Just tucked the GT in for the season after a spirited run today

Took the GT for a good long run today and then back into the garage for the season. Trickle charger on , gas treated, and tires pumped up, car cover and see it next Spring.

Going in for some serious back surgery Dec 10, not fun, but hopefully won't affect my "clutch" leg . Doc says 3 months from surgery to hopefully back up and around doing things again. Just in time for Spring!!

Mine is not in yet but will be very soon.
Went for a ride too this morning.
Love driving this car.

It's hard to put it away for the winter but no choice here...

Good luck with the surgery Bob.
Hope you'll get better soon.
Take good care of yourself.

Mine has been put to sleep for 2 weeks now in a place far far away. However, I check it daily via a web cam.

Good luck with your back surgery Bob.

They tell me it won't snow here for another month or so. A warm 63º this afternoon, to mid 30's overnight. Not quite freezing overnight yet but it's close. This big arctic air mass that's going to fump on the northern half of the country will be well east of us per the forecasters. I still have PS2's on it so nothing more than touring speeds for the next few weeks, until we actually get enough for the cinder spreaders to be out. Then into the garage until April or so. I have a nice spot picked out already. Nice and clean, warm, and dry.

Bob, good luck with the cutters. There's no good time for back surgery except a couple years ago.

Same here, with 6" predicted over the next 48 hours, the salt trucks will be out in force. Time to pack up the garage for winter.

Met up with some 928's in Elkhart Lake for lunch.
While sitting in the window of Lake Street Cafe, a red Ruf BTR drove through followed minutes later by a mint late 80's 930.

Now the fun begins, time to tear into the 87 and start updating everything. Busy winter

Today's the day for Blumaxx. Good cleaning/treating of inside and out, overfill the tires, gas topped off (e-free of course) and treated. Battery out. Car cover will be on. Rick if you are reading this and not glued to the Steeler game, swing on by later (I'm in the office now - gotta pay for all this stuff ya know!)

Bob - best of luck to you with your procedure. Let us know how it goes!

Good luck on the surgery Bob. Maybe the Docs will put in a bionic back in for you, so you won't need a lift to work on your car.

If you're at work Ed you shouldn't be on Rennlist!

See you around 12:30. This will be my last drive for the year also. I need to do some things on it over the winter. We'll talk about it today.

well, mine's all tucked in now too, battery in the warm basement, car cleaned and covered. Has a nice short end-of season sprint with Rick first tho. Was fun.

Man, you guys. I'm the first "no-salt-on-my-car-man", and it is getting colder. But I expect to drive into Dec. I did put Stabilant in. (The neighborhood cat looks quite dapper in his winter coat.)

Got to thinks positive.

I hear you Steve. I'm very reluctant to "Put her away for winter" so soon. I may have her out one or two more times if the weather is good. But, by mid December I know for sure she'll be done.

Ed and I had a really good spirited run, just going to fill his tank! We took the LONG WAY!
