Comfort Seat Pin positions in 14 pin connector
All,
I am temporarily removing the sport seats in my 87 S4 to get them recovered and have a set of comfort seats to install. Passenger side when extremely smoothly, simply unplug existing 14 Pin connector and plug in comfort seat 14 pin connector.
The driver side is a different situation as the PO of the seats removed the 14 pin connector and spliced in another connector (see picture below)
Fortunately he left all the wires with pins from the 14 pin connector. If someone could tell me which wire goes to which pin position I would appreciate it. I have a 14 Pin connector and will remove the spliced plug and put pins back on the power and ground wires for the 14 pin.
Thanks, Kevin

Hi Kevin - I meant to address this before now, did you find the answer or are you still looking?
I did just the opposite - going from 12 way Comfort to the installation of 4 way Sport seats. As I recall, on the 12 way:
Pin 1 is Ground (Brown)
Pin 2 is Power (Red)
Not sure on the other functions, since I lost those, but this should get some function back.

Thanks, am still looking for other positions. Figured I am just going to have to remove the passenger seat, pop the top off the 14 pin connector and take a picture.
I appreciate positions for power and ground, only 12 more to go :-)

Fortunately, my comfort seats are in the upstairs guestroom. Here's my driver's seat-side 14-pin connector:
