Small turnout this morning, 7 928's a Boxter, a 911 and a Merc SL55 and Roger in his 924. Still a good group. Mike Vance brought his 85, but unfortunately it started and died when leaving. We tried swapping relays and a new fuse, but NFG. He's going home for some tools and a jumper wire. He says the 85 won't be coming to 3rd Coast.

85 is alive!

It was the EZF relay. Once Mike H. took me home so I could get some tools and a volt meter and my trusty toggle switch with pig tails, we had the car fired back up in 15 minutes.

I only had TWO spare relays with me and the LH and Fuel relays were swapped before I swapped in the horn relay for the EZK once I got back.....

Reinforces the recommendation to replace all the critical relays now, in the comfort of your own garage. Better than in a parking lot with friends. MUCH better than along a lonely highway on the way to somewhere.

Rumor has it that there's a stash of relays somewhere near DFW. Bribe the Parts Diva...
