Default Part number please (floor mat accessory)

Please can someone let me know part number for the L-shaped bracket and latch that mounts under front seat runners, and holds down front floor mats through the reinforced hole in the mats?

I can't seem to find it in either main PET or the Seats supplement.

Thanks

I am pretty certain that the L shaped bracket was an aftermarket addition similar to the snaps that come with the Lloyds mats.
Porsche carpets were held down with a large headed plastic button that screws on the vertical post from the floor = N 900 685 01
Check out PET illustration 807-05 #2

Thanks so much Roger. That fits very well with fact that on left side there is one bracket/latch on left, but on same side on right there is no bracket, but I can see the original carpet (under mat) is held down by large button.

On the right of the vehicle there are two brackets/latches holding down mat over original carpet, and there is vertical post exactly as you describe but no button screwed onto it!

I wanted to get another bracket because the "latch" button came off post when I was cleaning carpets today, so I wanted a replacement to hold the mat down nicely (the mat has the plastic reinforced rectangular slits for the latch).

I'll take a look at the illustration you referenced. Thanks again!

For posterity- never seen these listed in a factory document.

Those are the ones I have, or at least the black ones on left of your photo. Thanks for posting.

They're in the Tequipment catalogue from memory - I bought a couple of sets from Roger a few years ago using a Porsche part number.

edit: Found them in the catalogue: 000 043 202 80 listed as "set of fastening parts" for 928 on the floormats page.

Will go check in the garage as I'm working from home today - pretty sure one set is still in the box they came in

edit2: Yup, part number confirmed. I bought 2 sets of those brackets in June 2009 from Roger, price back then was $16 per set.

Thanks Hilton & Rob - if I had a brain I would be dangerous 8>)

16 sets sitting in Germany and $21 a pair.

Do you use these when the original posts have failed/been removed/fallen off?

The buttons you refer to above Roger are for the main carpet and screw onto the threaded posts in the floor to hold the interior carpet in place.

These brackets bolt to the seat rails, and fit metal-reinforced eyelets in original Tequipment factory floormats to stop the floor mats sliding forwards.

I can take a picture later for reference of others. It looks like the floor mats themselves are no longer produced.
