It's on the lift, that _is_ level. Or at least it better be level...

Looks like motor mounts are in my near future.
99,000 miles, I can only assume they are original.

Drifting
I'll add another data point. Just went outside to take this photo.
New factory mounts installed just couple of months ago, and only a few hundred miles on them since. Hope you can see there is small gap between straight edge sitting on intake and top of crossbar. I estimate the gap is 5-10mm.
Don't worry about odd angle. 928 is jacked up at rear while I clean wheel well liners, but that doesn't change relative position of engine and crossbar.

Hacker, your mounts are probably fine, that crossbar is just bowed up from the previous front end damage.

Remember that the crossbar/support isn't always perfectly flat, either.
Also, if yours are on borrowed time, I'd keep a close eye on the air conditioning tube along the pass fender, with an eye toward clearance with respect to the head.

Check your steering rack while you are in there doing the MM and OPG. Mine was leaking.
Added $ and time to the job, now the 928 drives like a new car. COMPLETELY better by 100%. So smooth!
