Default FS: 1986.5 928 S 5-speed Manual w/ LSD - San Diego

I did mention that I will be selling my car to switch to an automatic at Sharktoberfest. Well I was serious.
In the future I will do a manual, but right now I want to do auto to please myself in traffic and my family

I only drove it what at most 10 times (includes smog/dmv trips etc) after getting the car (only like 3 times sense the 2013 Sharktoberfest + this years Sharktoberfest)
Really not that much changed from when I bought it a little over a year ago (most information is directly from the prior ad that I bought)

-Asking Price $9,500 (there is a discount for rennlist member)
-Meteor Gray Metallic with burgundy interior. WP0JB0920GS862698
-5 speed manual tranny, with Limited Slip and a Euro 2.7272 gear set in a US 2.20 box which makes 1st thru 4th gear similar to a 3.09 gear set.
-Sport Seats with good condition bolsters
-Have stereo (not installed), Prior x2 owner removed along with aftermarket alarm system
-Resealed the engine and replaced the vacuum, fuel, and breather lines as of 2013 by Shane
-New steering rack bushings (Delrin), pan gasket, motor mounts, brake lines, red painted calipers,
-New clutch master and slave and new blue house, new checkvalve.
-Dual Disk clutch according to PO.
-Smog equipment and cat California Legal (smogged and checked)
-Porken stub shaft clamps, S300 v 4.0 chipset, torque rings, S4 fuel Reg, 32vlr cam timing, blinkered, rebuilt maf, new CPS, TPS, final stages, cam cover reseal, powder coating on cam covers and intake.
-928 Motorsports electric fan upgrade. New water pump, timing belt, cam belt gears OK, tensioner is stock but rebuilt.
-928 Specialist "Sharkvent" crankcase breather system.
-H4 headlights
-Has spare air pump, some tools, car manuals
-Original Key in storage (silver) and new key used for keychain which has light (color crest), door locks work
-Big brakes installed and is red
-Flat Disk rims (my fave)
-Sun roof works, and both windows
-Heat works, so does fan
-currently the short shifter is installed, I also have the original long shifter for those who like the longer one.
-interior leather and dash is decent
-TBelt checked and replaced by PO.
-Battery is new from Autozone the day before Sharktoberfest with receipt (gold battery so 5 years)
-Current engine oil - Valvoline VR1 20W-50 (changed myself)
-Have receipts and purchases that was given to me, and my very few purchases also I started a fill ups book which I keep track of mileage and tank fill ups (which you can calculate the MPG too)

Negs:
-interior Lights don't work, but the dash lights work (just crappy light when compared to today's cars)
-Untested hatch release (I bought the plastic thing for the release but have yet to install it)
-Water for wipers do not work (wipers work)
-Untested AC (need to buy the refrigerant but it is R-12 ie ebay)
-Clutch is notchy when cold (Reverse/1st/2ed, so at best is the car needs to be off to shift to it unless warmed up), seems the PO self installed plates not too long ago so likely not properly set. But as always suspect the worst with shift plates.
-Shifter pedal is LONG and stiff. Needs to be looser.
-Not perfect paint (paint imperfections, paint damage)

Mileage to come (have not noted it down sense Sharktoberfest)

Pictures in next post, all pictures taken on the day of Sharktoberfest (most of it was at Sharktoberfest this years 2014 Sharktoberfest, and the last 2 was when I returned home the same day)

I'm thinking if the interior was black that would sell in a day or two.

I can check it out as an independent 3rd party if anyone needs me to. I am in Sandy.

Was this Shane's car?

love the color combo. I think burgendy works perfect with that meteor metallic grey. Looks like a great car for the price.

Love the Burgundy interior! I'm a little biased though..............I really love those Sport Seats!! GLWS I hope you find a nice Auto.

"-Pot hole rims (my fave)" ..........Ahhhhhh, Maybe "Flat Disk" or "Manhole Cover" wheels would be a better description?

Well one of the reasons why I am switching cars is that I want OB seats, non-electronic versions which I bought even before I bought the 928 .
The car seems all original, so gutting it out and cutting the wires isn't something that I really want to do to an original car. (which includes redoing the entire interior's color, sunroof delete, double dinn radio, rear wiper delete). This car is better for restoration, than a sex change. So I have not really touched the car that much. (drove it about 10 times over the entire year of ownership, and about 7 of the 10 was single trips going to the DMV, gas station, and smog station)

Flat disks is more polite thanks for the suggestion. Speaking of disks, I forgot to add that it was dual disk clutch.

I am starting to think that too. Even just black carpets and red leather will prob sell quicker.

Thanks I like it too, I am only selling it because I am switching to an auto.
