The leather looks great, the carpet and vinyl have lightened with age or UV.
I guess these could be dyed to better match the seat leather which is very nice.
Shouldn't be hard to find an auto owner willing to trade for your manual.

I am not going to say no, but I need to be picky because of the above reasons.

Nice car, I parked next to it at Sharktoberfest on the drivers side in my US 83.
Have you driven an auto 928 yet? I'm thinking one of Leo's is an auto, maybe talk to him about a ride or something. I would try the new before I sell the old.

Isn't that a sport steering wheel too?
Metoric Metallic is an awesome color on a 928! I almost bought an 86.5 auto in that exact same int/ext color combo about 3 yrs ago. It was a pristine original car, about 62k miles IIRC. It would have been a perfect car for you. I knew the owner, who was reputable & had owned the car most of its life. I posted a thread about it here on RL. No one here moved on it. It needed some normal maintenance, mainly TB/WP; ac work, & the ABS light was one. Other than that I think everything worked, I know I checked when I saw & drove the car. It ended up selling for just $7500 about 18 mos ago, then it sold again this year, but not sure of the price. I was told the car is in Atlanta now.
I will say when I seriously considered buying it, other than the amount of work & upgrades I'd already done on my '85 that wouldn't easily transfer over, I personally didn't care for the burgundy interior. Like Randy said, with a black interior, that would have really made the exterior pop & I'd have been more likely to of pursued it. That's me. Your car looks very nice & I'd leave the interior color alone. There are many who really like the burgundy, as evidenced by the positive comments here. GLWS.

Keep in mind that a lot of 87 S4's were built in 1986
Sadly I am looking for only 1986 models, being it is my wife's birth year (likely only 1986.5 which I don't know yet). Plus it needs that stock cat due to Cali smog rules (a lot of cars out there has the cat removed)
I am not going to say no, but I need to be picky because of the above reasons.

Bump
Update (cant update original post)
1. Still for Sale or for trade.
2. Fixed: Had the local mechanic fix the shifter, so shifter is no longer hard to shift nor notchy.
3. Up to date smog and registered as of winter of 2015.
4. Includes a Y pipe.
5. Includes the Porken PKBumpStick wrench & the PK32V'r - cam timing tool
6. While at the mechanics the coolant was flushed and added WaterWetter.
7. Right height was double checked at the mechanics.
Notes:
I took off the 1/2 bellypan, but realized I had nothing to beat it into shape . Sadly it is sitting in the car.
