Default New product. Injector adaptors

Hot from the machine shop, after the design, fitment, and testing stages.

These handy little adaptors will adapt Bosch Type 2 (high impedance) injectors into the 1980-1984 USA vehicles and the European 1984-1986 engines.

These clever little pieces give the owners of these vehicles the ability to use reasonably priced newer design (4 hole) injectors....plus the ability to use higher flow injectors, for high performance use.

As many of the owners of these cars have (or are) finding out, the stock USA injectors are well over $200 each....and the 'Euro injectors simply do not exist new, any longer.

Cleaning injectors will not reverse the internal wear. The vast majority of these stock injectors are at the end of their life span...however people "suffer" with leaking, poorly spraying injectors, simply because of the outrageous cost of new injectors.

Here's the solution!

CNC machined from 304 Stainless Steel for durability.

Special introductory price of $150 for a set of 8, which includes the retaining clip.

We can also supply new rubber seals, new fuel injector hose (and clamps), as well as sets of injectors.

Also available soon at 928-R-US, 928 International, and 928 Classics.

Nifty solution, it's nice to have an alternative to ridiculously expensive or NLA.

Hi Greg,
What's with the hose clamp on the stock appearing fuel rail? I thought that clamping on the barbed fitting was dangerous.
Nice product.
Thanks,
Dave

It's not a barb, it's flat where the clamp is tightened.

Thanks for keeping these babies going! The time, money, effort you put into keeping our cars on the road is appreciated and a feat not many can match.

Guilty.

I knew someone would find something wrong....I was just hoping I could sell them, without destructive testing or running them for a couple of million miles....

The rail is barbed. Not barbed like barbs for plastic line (very sharp) but barbed for rubber hose (not as sharp, taller "barb bulge".)

I didn't have any of the stock "hats", so when they are missing, I add a loosely tightened clamp....mostly to keep the clients from freaking out!

The only way to get that proper German rubber hose off of those barbs is with a razor blade! I call this "German Pushlock Hose".

Great idea! Wish they would have been around before I made new fuel rails for one project...would have save me many hours.

Nice!
Greg, do you have a recommendation with respect to what "reasonably priced newer design" injectors would be best suited to pairing with your adapter?

Edit: Sorry, didn't read your post thoroughly ...Bosch Type 2

Cheers,

Nice!!!

I had Todd modify a set of 32V fuel rails to bolt to my 16V intake. This would have been a much simplier solution.

Already ordered a set but at that price I will have two sets.
Sorting out the correct injectors. I will be fitting Design II 24Lb on my 86.

Greg these will fit 84 to 86 16v M28:21 & 22 not just 85 & 86

I'm planning to megasquirt my -85 euro engine. Does this mean I could use these injectors with my project? http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-Year-Warra...daf543&vxp=mtr

Those are Design III injectors and the adapters are for Design II.
You maybe able to slot the top and make them fit but I will leave the definitive answer to the experts.
