Clanking noise from behind passenger dash
I everyone, so I did a little searching on this issue and haven't found the exact type of issue I am running into. Here is what happens.
When starting the car (and at low/idle rpms) the car sounds fine. Then upon acceleration (from about 1000-2500 rpms a clanking sound happens and gets faster as rpms increase from inside the passenger side dash (or past the firewall I cannot tell.)
Occasionally the sound will go away but after a road trip to St. Louis I have pretty much had this sound happen continuously. Any help would be a huge assistance!

Sounds like a leaking HVAC actuator.

TT Bearings with possible Vibration Dampener sliding for and aft. When my TT went I would have bet there was a bolt clanking around in HVAC housing near recirc flap. Hope I'm wrong.

no you could have a TT issue with auto or 5 speed.
A better description of the issue would also allow a better guess.
You could try shutting off the HVAC system and see if it makes noise ,
or plug the feed line to the HVAC system at the brake booster,
its the black hose that goes to the firewall.
If removing the vacuum supply stops the noise,
then you most probably have a leaking pod
