Default Who sells fuel FI hose??

Looking for the high pressure FI hose that goes on 4.7L old barb style injectors.
Also can`t remember if its 7mm or 7.5mm? Cloth covered would be ok also.

Don`t need the rebuild kit, just a line on the hose. Thanks, Kevin

Any fuel hose will work. The pressures on the system are less than 100psi. Just make sure it fits well on the barb.

7X3mm. I used Cohline and have not had a leak since I did it.

If you have the correct hose like this you will not need to use hose clamps, only the ferules to protect the ends of the hose.

N 020 281 1 is the correct part number for the correct German hose.....which is what you should use.

Almost any shop working on German vehicles should stock this. Very common.

If you can't find it, I have it here.

Will I need the clamps or is this a push on tight fit? I understand clamping a barb fit hose can cause damage to the hose.

You need clamps rated for high pressure fuel injection use, and I opted for Gates low perm barrier CARB (Calif air resources board) I think 27335 hose.

30R9 rated min.
50mm long
7.5 or 9.5 mm
5/16 is 7.9mm, which is I think a tight close enough fit.

Here's the whole story, in a nutshell:

Never, never, never put a rubber hose with a clamp over barbs that were originally made to have plastic hose over them. Your main feed hose (and possibly the main return hose) are of this construction. The problem with the barbs is that they are very sharp and will cut the inner liner of the hose when a hose clamp is tightened down.

Worth noting, there is a product called "push lock" hose and hose ends, which is sold by several manufacturers. This rubber hose goes over very sharp barbs....but because it was designed to be the perfect size, it does not require a clamp!

The original injectors did not have barbs, but did have a "bulge" to keep the hose from blowing off the end. If a clamp is used, it tightens down on a smooth metal surface, not a sharp barb.

If you have the original "hats" that were on the injectors and the fuel rails, you will not need clamps, if you use the N020 281 1 German hose. Those "hats" kept the end of the hose from cracking and flaring out. If you do not have those "hats", simply use clamps made for fuel injection hose. This style clamp has "turned up" edges, to keep the hose from being cut/damaged.
