Ok, I'm sold. Where do I buy the materials? If I can switch to a 16CL-B jet ski battery and a super-cap will start my car reliably every time, I'm ready. Jet ski battery is $55. 928 battery is $110. You have $55 to play with. Weight diff is about 30Lbs, but all that weight is over the rear axle.

You can use any 12v battery: racing, motorcycle etc. You want an ultra capacitor with 300-500 farad and 16v wired in parallel. Maxwell is the best. My FIL says he gets his off ebay for around $120.
