Default Looking for Service Shop in San Francisco Bay Area

Back in the day there was Devek. Who is currently the reliable expert in the area for 928's? Looking for timing belt/water pump replacement and manual transmission work. TIA.

Frank Siam of Auto Sport Haus in San Francisco has been my Porsche mechanic since the 1980's. Great guy and Porsche factory trained. Where else can you find a Chinese guy speaking English with a German accent? 415-771-5770

Depends where you are in the Bay Area. If you're north of the GG Bridge, I'd recommend Hi-Tec in San Rafael:

The owner, Deven Wailes, has owned several 928s, knows the cars well and is a good guy.

I'm in the peninsula. I've heard Hi Tec is good for air cooled; didn't realize he worked on Walter cooled too.
