Hopefully mine will be in one of the groups soon! They look great! Don, I'll see you tomorrow, I'll be in the turbo cab, the 928 was filthy.

I bought just the dial, planning to install it myself. I have jewelers tools and some watch jiggering experience.

If anyone comes across a nice example or two of the correct watch type on eBay or Amazon, perhaps post a link?

Thanks.

Plenty of them. Just remember that you need a 4 o'clock crown, and that the dial doesn't matter. So, look for a case shape and hands that you like.

You want a Seiko 5 with a 7S26 movement, like this: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw...+7s26&_sacat=0
Or, if you're more into divers: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw...+-new&_sacat=0

If you want something a little different, there are folks out there selling divers already modded. Just picture it with the 928 dial: http://www.ebay.com/sch/kontrolsport...p2047675.l2562

With a 7S26 dial, the world is your oyster!

Looking good RKD - hope mine arrives soon! Going to Houston first week of October for the Rides & Rolex Concours. Would be nice to show my 928 watch while showing my 928!

RDK, looks like the cheaper Seiko keeps better time :-)

Andy, I might swing by the concurs, but I don't think I'll enter this year since I learned last year my cars, while nice, aren't concurs material (although I did get a metal for getting 3rd in class out of 3 :-) )

Very nice & you just happen to have the time set at 9:28 in the 1st pic. Lots of upcoming car functions over the next two months, starting with a car show this weekend I'm having my 968 cab in. Hope to get mine soon so as not to put the wear on my Leica 928 watch.

Hi Rick – I’ve no idea. I guess I have bright lights in the house or something. Keeps the vampires away

Shawn,
I had my -one only- watch in the mail. I received 1 of 2 ordered. Are you sending one later? I wonder if something went wrong.
I have to say I wasn't home for a while and there could have been no way that 2 boxes would have fit in the mailbox. (Our mailboxes are very small)

Hi Peter. I don't remember off the top of my head how many I sent to you. Did you get two emails, or one from USPS?

Shawn,

One email with the delivery info.
We'll see when I get back again, in another week.

Thanks anyway for all your work. Those watches look great.

Peter
