Just wrapping up this thread. I had a flatbed come in last Friday. The driver asked me to try to get the rear end of the car a little bit out of the garage before hooking the chains up. I figured I'd turn the ignition on for a moment in reverse to have the starer jerk the car back a few more feet. After the second time, the rust seal broke, the engine started, and all is well! The flatbed driver charged me $50 for coming out-all in all, not a bad deal.
