I've been in S China since the day after the event and I have not had the chance to post.
I opted out of the fun run because I had to take my pal home. As we were booming up the 57 ( ha) all the lights went on and the temp shot up. I was in the commute lane and crossing over 8 lanes in heavy traffic with a DEAD car is a serious challenge. Upon opening the hood I discovered
lots of loose pulley's and belts. The big nut had decided to part ways with the crank shaft
Not knowing what to do, I called Mark and he connected me to Greg Brown. Greg suggested to get it towed to his shop. I knew the big belt had come loose and fearing the worst. Greg opened his shop
and within 2 hours of wrenching, I was back on the road. This was Saturday night!
What are the odds of breaking down 400 miles away from home and having the best 928 guy wrench on your car on a Saturday night?
Hats off to Greg Brown and every one else in the 928 community

Working on some plans to hopefully make it out for the 2015 event.
Until then....unsticking.
