Tried to do that about 3-4 years ago. Contractors were putting a new rooftop A/C unit on top of the building where they held the event and had it cordoned off. What time are you planning to leave the host hotel and what time are you planning on getting to 928 Intl ? TIA T

Well, my 928 is back on the road and will be in attendance coming from Fresno. If there are any people wanting to drive down early saturday morning (from Fresno area or south HWY 99 to the 5) let me know. I would plan on getting there right around 9 am and stay that evening as well.

I look forward to meeting many of you that have educated me on these cars. My prior experience has been with air-cooled Porsches.

PM me if you are headed through my area or close to my trip pathway on the way down. I would consider leaving on Friday if there was a persuasive enough reason to.

The event is listed under the Porsche club. The rate that I'm getting for Saturday is $114 plus tax. The rate on Friday is the same.

Under this event they have 11 rooms left for Friday and 12 left for Saturday. The cutoff date for booking is the 10th which after this date the rooms are released from the block. Since they are fully booked these nights outside out event blocked rooms these will for sure be gone if not booked by the 10th... so get-r-dun!

Van, there is another thread about a caravan from Norcal, but the last suggestion I noticed on it was that the caravan was not likely to happen.

Van, there are still some coming from Norcal, such as Bill Ball. Im not available to drive and lead the caravan (bummer!) but that doesnt mean someone else cant do it.

Just booked my hotel room using from hotel block. there are rooms left on the block but not any via regular reservations.

Ill be there with out my car sadly so Im currently looking for a ride home to San Jose, CA.
