Any used Weltmeisters for sale?
After upgrading the front pressureless BOGE on my 84 to konis I have the all-to-common "off road" edition 928 which, based on the "search" button has been an issue for a lot of the 84-86 guys over the years.
The solution does not appear to be S4 springs. All the spring lengths from adjustable suspension cars (84+) had the threaded collars and shorter springs. So this isn't as simple as it is for a 78-83 car that can swap the early "long" springs for 84+ later springs.
After tons of reading other threads I think Eibachs will be too stiff for what I'm looking for and I don't think I want to cut coils off the OEM springs based on some input from others. Ideally I'd like to find a used set of Weltmeisters (new ones seem to be out of production?) before giving in and spending $$ on a 928 Motorsports hypercoil kit.
Thanks.

Sorry to hop in on the thread but Eibach's are exactly what I want for my '89.
Both the early and late custom aftermarket springs seam to be tough to come by as a complete set.

Michael, I had researched the Eibachs but just for my personal preference I was not comfortable with the upper range of the variable spring rate on the Eibachs; afraid they would be too stiff. Keep in mind my car is a daily driver with occasional autocross days, but needs to be a reasonable street car. The Weltmeisters are a linear spring with a spring rate about equal to the initial rate of the Eibachs.
But I agree, there seems to be no availability of aftermarket srpings anymore. Weltmeisters, from what I can tell, are out of production for 928s (which sucks because they are readily available for the 944 and 924S) and 928INTL stopped carrying Eibachs becasue Eibach had a minimum order requirement of 50 sets which was cost prohibitive to keep in stock.
