Send Hacker a PM - he loves to sticky stuff.

Perhaps add the event date to the title.

So im kicking around the idea tor a Torque Tube swap for a tech session. Mine is starting to growl and on its last let. Dave ok'd it if we have enough crazy able bodied helpers. Please chime in if intetested. Thanks. If we go this route its possible the Fun Run and Pizza Run would be off the books for the helpers. I'd be buying pizza for the helping crew at that point. The Fun Run and Pizza Run with Dave leading the pack would still be on for those not interested in my extreme Tech Session.

This is a big job. If something goes wrong its more than a one day deal. Lot's of prep needed. Need a rebuilt TT there and ready to go. Also need a torque convertor cover with new bearings installed if you are going to do this job. Silly not to replace those bearings when you are in there.
Trans jack or way to lower the trans and TT down as a unit is also needed. If you just try to pull the TT without taking the trans down there is a chance of damaging the input to the trans due to bending forces the TT can exert on the trans.

Thanks Jeff, I will be looking for a Torque Converter Cover so I can have the bearings pressed in before to do the job as a full swap of both items. Dave says he has a tranny jack and chains so we should have the proper tools and support there.
