Default 90 GT for sale

Saw this car for sale at the PVGP (in Pittsburgh). It is offered by a local dealership with a good reputation in exotics (Ferrari, Maseratti, 911s, etc), and they have this red over beige GT. 73 on the clock, the car is clean, and the seller thinks it's an S4 5 speed. It isn't, it's a GT. We all looked at it and confirmed it. TB/WP just done. Has a few nits. Seller asking $24,500, which I think is S4 money and not GT money (another red 90 GT, but with lower miles, just went at Mecum for $50K). I think this car is undervalued by $5 to $10K. Who knows; would certainly want a ppi. Rick, Gary and Steve can weigh in with their thoughts.

Looks very nice. Agree it may be a bit under-priced, the latest Hagerty Price Guide Report (April 2014) shows a Grade 2 90GT at $27,800.

The Mecum Auction car you referenced at $50K was actually an '89GT with 16K miles.

my bad; Gary also thought I was estimating too high on it. Still, it's a GT that can probably had for low 20s.

Steve took a picture of the option sticker under the hatch carpet to look up the options later. Maybe when he has a chance he'll post it or send it to me to post.

Slightly older brother of my car. Same colors. Built near the end of the 90 production run. Glad to see prices holding up well.

Strange that the seller doesn't really know it's a GT and not an S4.

yes; I talked to him specifically about it, and he said he and his people did a lot of research and knew what they had - an S4. I wasn't going to argue with him.

I think it's a steal in the low 20s. Even at or near the ask. Just mho though, and I have not done anything even remotely constituting a ppi.
