Sue,
Most beautifully written about a man we all cared for and you obviously loved deeply.
Again, so sorry for the loss to you and your family, but none of us would want Dennis to continue in the agony of the past few months.

Dennis,
I can still hear you laughing, more like a cackle really, reminiscent of that wicked Weissach exhaust when you mashed the gas pedal, and you did that often, just like me. I can still see you smiling. Seems like you always were, even as your health left you. I can still see you giving as you always did, of your knowledge of 928's, quality rum, good reefer and more importantly, your time. Even when it was running out for you. What an honor and pleasure it was to call you my friend Dennis. So the next time I get the back end loose and the engine is howling and I'm pushing the limits, I'll remember you doing the same, with that huge grin on your face and that cackling laugh.
Cheers old buddy.

RIP Dennis. I will certainly miss him as well. I will also miss our talks about why neither of us could get our Euro headed cars to cold start. He was a great guy and I'm glad I got to spend a few years with him. It was nice to meet a lot of his other friends and family at his service that I did not know. He was truly a pleasure.
p.s. I'll happily continue to fly the Parrothead and burnout flags for him.

I met Dennis 4 years ago when he and many of the Michigan gang attended SITM, I had recently bought my first 928, and the Michigan group had some of the nicest 928's present, especially Dennis's Weissach Edition, certainly one of the most beautiful and nicest sounding 928's I have ever seen. His enthusiasm for the 928 left a lasting impression on me that still is present today. All of us will certainly miss him in the community. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
