Default Engine Wiring Harness - New Product 928sRus

The engine wiring harness runs from the 14 pin connector and encompasses most sensors and senders on the engine and ties in with the alternator & starter. Supply from Porsche is sketchy to say the least and the prices keep going up.
Sean Ratts - 928 Uber Mechanic and Specialist has been replacing this harness on many of his customers cars to overcome electrical gremlins for some time. Original harness are deteriorating, materials wise, becoming seriously corroded and the insulation cracking. With the newest of our cars being 20 years old the engine harness WILL cause you problems - PERIOD.
Sean has spent a lot of time and money researching and sourcing the correct materials and parts. I have watched him put together a stock of parts that meet, and in most cases, exceed the original Porsche specification.
Sean is now in a position to make additional harnesses for me to sell.
Currently I have two 87 to 95 harnesses in stock and will take orders for all other year harnesses. For 16v cars Sean has the ability to make harnesses for USA/CAN & ROW cars. Prices and availability on application.

87 to 95 Front of Engine Harness $730

Great job. I just removed mine and inspected it and found a chafed area where bare wire was showing. Fixed it but will need one soon. Things are hammered after all these years.

Nice! I have two gauges that "pulse" (voltage and oil), which if its not the pod probably has something to do with the harness.

Is the price for 16v cars different? Will installation instructions be included for newbies like me? Seems like it would be relatively easy to install, I guess I would be looking for tips on install order, etc.

I made them as close to the factory as I could, plug and play even down to the wires are exactly as they show on the wiring diagram. If it says a wire is a red with a white trace, it's like that in the loom. Best bet is to pull yours off the car and install one right then. One area I can't get correct is the 89 plus cars with the 3 pin oil pressure sensors, can't find those connectors so I've been putting the early sender in. The only difference is one wire and I'm not entirely sure why it is there as the early sender with two wires works the same on the digi dash cars. I'm sure Alan can tell you why.

As to the early cars, the CIS cars have 2x the connectors as the later cars so price has not been finalized. Because I honestly don't know what I should charge on them.

Biggest issue right now is finding the time to actually make them. I was waiting on parts Saturday so spent the day making the two that Rog has on hand.

If so then I can do one. I'm sure it's not that much different than the S4's but I'd not want to make one w/o being exact.

What about the pyramid shaped oil sender attachment on the newer cars? Will all users have to purchase the older style oil sender with the two prongs rather than 3 and the weird connector?

Looking good!

You will need the earlier oil pressure sender.
