You could swing up to Alcoa Thursday night, it's only another 115 miles if you want to hook up with the gang for the Aloca Run over to Banner Elk.

What time will you be leaving Alcoa. Chattanooga is my Alma mater so we will be doing a little sightseeing and visiting my frat brothers at UTC. KE, ( Kappa Sigma). Wife has never seen the Smoky Mountains or the BRP so it will be a real eye opener for her.

Hi Gang,

We were finishing up final arrangements for everything this past week and an idea was sparked that has prompted us to make some slight changes to the Schedule of Events.

Sorrentto's Bistro has graciously offered us the exclusive use of their really cool "Sushi Club" Nightclub for a Saturday Night Dinner Party along with a great dinner menu (and price :-). The Sushi Bar will also be open for those that like that....OH, the Bar will also be open too!! :-) FYI, The Sushi Club is located upstairs from their main restaurant.

Due to this change we decided to rearrange the locations of the Saturday Main Event and lunch to the Best Western Hotel. With these changes we are also able to schedule a longer 928 Mountain drive in the afternoon before the Dinner Party.

Jeannie and I are really excited about this subtle change in plans and feel you guys will be also (fingers crossed :-).

I have changed the Schedule on our website and also in Post 1 of this thread.

Can't wait to see you guys and gals!!

No worries about that forecast, the weather outlook changes there day by day...but OTOH I will take 76 and scattered T-storms any day, pretty much a normal summer forecast.

Indeed, Dave! I've been in Banner Elk during all types of precipitation... my kids mostly enjoy the frozen kind

Being a Native Floridian, I'm looking forward to a "heat reduction" even if a little precipitation comes along with it

I was in Banner Elk today! Just lovely, rain and all!

Don't let your non functioning 928 keep you away!

2012- I came without my 928 (my first SITM)
2013- towed my 928
2014- either driving truck, solara, or riding in the 928 RS....

Once again #30 will not be making the trip

Point is....don't matter what you bring, just a great gathering for fun and fellowship!
