That's a pity ... I was going to suggest a little light bedtime reading.

I do not accept your challenge on the grounds that I haven't seen any and don't want to lose . I think for a 928 a gauge panel anywhere would be hard to pull off, so don't feel bad by my comments. I personally would have not made things so bulbous. Again, it could just be the angle of the pic. Peter North
I did not take offense by your comments, like I said we are all entitled to an opinion. The gauges are not bulbous, each is angled to the driver's eyes, plus angling them was the only way to make three gauges fit in the space of the original ash tray. You may not like them, but I have had almost a dozen requests, over the years, by other owners to build one for them.

It's a daily driver and being a garage queen is just not what it deserves.
take the insurance off it...store it...give Rog the keys to go start it and drive it around the storage yard now and then...and mentally forget about it for 5yrs.

Thats where I'm at with my car right now. I want something else but there is no way I can justify two sports cars. Well, let me clarify.... my wife seeing two sports cars. Heck your single you have that rap beat!!

Always admired your car Jim...GLWS.

Peter North: known for his large loads (and lack of motility). I think we've been sploooged.

Since we're posting Jim's GTS ****, these are from a 2003 Sharkfest somewhere in Texas. Jim’s GTS is the first I’d ever seen and standing next to it was like petting a unicorn. Anyway, GLWS Jim. You're crazy if you take less than $60K.

So Mr. North got banned! I was waiting for the happy ending. Oh well!

All of the gauges were added to help with troubleshooting and because I like the look. I built this car for*ME, and I don't care what anyone else thinks. Like it or don't, everyone is entitled to their opinion.*
And you did this very successfully. Ingenious how you installed the ARM air/fuel gauge above the radio and below the HVAC.

Peter North, I challenge you to find a better installation! I don't like the A column mounts or the package shelf installations, or the ash tray cover mount. What else is there?
The only other alternative I can think of is to completely forgo the stock cluster instrumentation and stock pod and built a custom pod with custom instrumentation. (Something I am serious thinking about doing.)

Unfortunately Jim's GTS was my first 928 to drive and it was downhill from there at every car I test drove after that. It truly is a beast and I will always be appreciative of getting to drive it. He's poured a lot of money, time and heart into that car. Good luck with the sale Jim, we will miss her.
