Wow .... all you had to say was that the gauge pod wasn't to your liking, which is an opinion you're entitled to, and entitled to express.
All the rest is just insult for the sake of it ... adds nothing, and is distinctly lacking in class.
Care to post a few pics of your car so we can similarly critique it?

Douche is correct.

[QUOTE]Which, if not all you additional gauges (Arm1 air-fuel-ratio gauge, Ampere meter, oil temperature, vacuum gauge, correct?) could/would you recommend for other 928’s? What were your consideration choosing these gauges? Is the gauge under the hood a fuel pressure gauge? Thanks. MN[/QUOTE
All of the gauges were added to help with troubleshooting and because I like the look. I built this car for ME, and I don't care what anyone else thinks. Like it or don't, everyone is entitled to their opinion.
Peter North, I challenge you to find a better installation! I don't like the A column mounts or the package shelf installations, or the ash tray cover mount. What else is there?

My guess is he just likes to make people say 'Peter North', and is laughing right now. Say hi to Traci for us!

Well I for one have lusted over the gauge cluster for the last 10 years and often asked Jim to make me one. Never heard a bad word said about it "ever" until your post. It suits the car perfectly (my opinion) and far better than the cheap and crappy looking pods that mount on the window frame.
However each to their own and you are entitled to your opinion.

Not exactly a major contributor to this forum that we should even care about their opinions, on anything, much less 928 related. Guffaw?? Who even uses that word in their daily life? That alone should explain it all to us. Then he insults every one of us by feeling the need to have to explain to us in parenthesis that he was being sarcastic(ie: smarta$$) - just in case you didn't pick up on my meaning there Mr. "Peter North". I agree that you should please tell us all about your cars & post some pics. I'm sure no matter how great they are, they could be up for critique by opinion. Do you even have a 928?? Wait, he's probably already over his annual allotment of responses here.
IIRC Jim's car came in 2nd at the 2008 Sharks in the Mountains, which had about 105 928s in attendance. And there were some very nice 928s there that weekend. That 2nd place award was voted on by the other car owners at the event. I know I voted for it. Its been one of the 928s I've always greatly admired, and not just for the stunning Kinesis K28R wheels, even though I'm biased, I know. So anyone who's seen this 928 knows how incredible it is. The pictures I posted above alone show that. And the interior is equally stunning.

Jim's car is one of the finest you can find anywhere. It is immaculate in every respect, and when you see it firsthand you can see the hard work and dedication to detail that went into making that way.
It's a superb car!

If I was in the market I would be all over that car. Love it.

I want to thank you for being honest. In the end, we modify our cars for ourselves and I suppose ultimately when a custom mod is done for ourselves we either go all out and make it perfect or accept it when it is functional and perhaps not completely pretty. Like I said before, I am basing this all on the pics posted.
I do not accept your challenge on the grounds that I haven't seen any and don't want to lose . I think for a 928 a gauge panel anywhere would be hard to pull off, so don't feel bad by my comments. I personally would have not made things so bulbous. Again, it could just be the angle of the pic.

Hey Peter North: there's a few replies to your other insulting remarks on the "STROSEK 928" thread. Do you want to eat a little crow there too? We are all waiting for pics of YOUR 928, if you have one.
