A couple new 928 T-shirt designs
The other day I was commenting to my girlfriend that there was a lack of technical related 928 shirts available. Many years ago, we had the Paisley Group who had a nice selection of Porsche themed shirts. Since they have closed, I rarely see a 928 shirt available that speaks to me. I have piles of event shirts, and while they all mean a lot to me, they generally don't have the subtleties that I like for wearing in a non-928 centric gathering.
So we discussed some ideas, with the goal of having a couple designs that you would feel comfortable wearing to a Cars and Coffee event, or other similar marque-neutral event. So, over the course of a couple evenings, Haley whipped up some designs rooted in some of the old technical publications.
I wanted a more modern style shirt, with a trimmer fit that could be worn comfortably under a jacket. We ultimately chose to go with the Next Level Apparel line of shirt blanks. It’s a thinner, more modern fabric stock, so more appropriate to wear out than in the shop.
The shirts are hand screen-printed here in Indianapolis by a friend, so we do have flexibility if there is demand in the future to print a work shirt, or custom sizes. I personally want some Dickies style button up work shorts, so we will be trying those out shortly.
We made a short run, just to test the waters and see if other people are looking for the same kind of shirt I thought was missing. We have limited availability of each print in L, XL, and XXL.
The fit of these shirts is a bit closer than a standard cotton "Haynes" T-shirt, if you want a baggy fit, you may want to go a size larger than you normally wear. For people who know me, I like the way the Large fits me.
The nice thing about having a local friend who screen-prints is that we can get more done very quickly, averaging less than a week turn-around. So if we run out of a size you need, or you just need a different size, we can get one out to you quickly.
Price for each shirt is $20, and shipping is a flat $5 for up to two shirts in the continental US. If you would like a shirt sent outside the US, or want to buy multiples, let us know the details in your email, and we will get you a price.
The first four pictures are rendered mockups of the shirt layout. The last composite image of all four prints are from the actual printed shirts.
Please email your order in to rennprints@projectninellc.com so we can keep track.
Thanks,
Hans (and Haley)

I like the engine block design the best... the complete 5.0L or 5.4L engine would be awesome too!
No offense to the artist... but the Geneva Motor Show one makes it look like 928's design really came from the AMC Pacer!

Spelling fixed. Thanks guys.
There are 25 of each design in various sizes ready to ship out. Just send a message to the email in the first post, and we can get you taken care of.
I do expect there to be a 32v cross-section print available at some point, as well as a couple other designs. The cost for screens is pretty reasonable, so it will allow small runs of some fun designs.
Dave - I never saw that Devek shirt, dont think it made it into the catalog, but I like the concept.
