Default St. Louis 928's?

Looks like my family and I will be moving back to the St. Louis area in the Spring....West County area. Just curious how many 928 folks are in the area?

The answer is not many.

I'm in Sunset Hills.
There's of friend of mine (goes by Dadddio, on RL), that is also close -- we try to wrench together when we can.
Beyond that, it's like looking for a yeti...I've only had a few sightings.

I'm a PCA guy and there's one Euro and one S4 in the region last time I asked around. How do I say this tactfully... our chapter is heavy on the 911's, wine, and cheese.

That's a good looking Ssss my friend, look me up when you arrive.
Regards.

I keep a craigslist search going, and am constantly surprised by how many I see listed in the vicinity. I pay attention because I go to STL a couple of times a year. Will be there at the end of this month. My own 928 was an STL car when I bought it.

But that doesn't mean they get out on the roads, so Dave is probably right in that respect.

I am in Columbia, 1.5 hours away. I have all the shop manuals and a bunch of tools, if you need to borrow something.

One of my family members had an '84 in their garage. Hasn't been started in...20+ years.

I see a MO gathering in the future.
Columbia is a good central location.

I am in STL. My nephew just moved in with us and he has the '85 S3 I built for him as a DD. My Dad's '84 Euro is about 100 miles south of STL and he comes to town once in a while. The only other 928 in STL that I know is CraigL. He has a sweet black GTS.

As I mentioned on the other board, my wife is a really excellent cook... and she likes P-cars too!

Scott, what is your schedule this spring and summer? Are you on tour anywhere?

I would like to friend everybody here and at least have a short list of local sharks so we can pull together someday.

I really need to get out to Columbia soon. I haven't had Shakespeare's pizza in forever.

Looks like we have found a home in Ballwin, MO and should be moving soon. If anyone is interested I put up a Facebook page for St. Louis 928s. Did this in Atlanta(great bunch of guys there!) and it's a great way to keep up with each other. St. Louis Page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/586342314770016/
Here is the Atlanta page if interested; https://www.facebook.com/groups/1406585162913476/

I'll throw in another vote for a midwest get together. It would be fun to get a bunch of 928's together and would be a nice "welcome" for you moving from Atlanta.

I am actually contemplating having the KCWS 2104 Renntreffen gathering in St Louis this year, and making it a scramble type event sometime in September/Oct. If there would be any interest in this, I'd love to hear from y'all.
