I am sorry if this is hijacking the thread, but I have a question for you St. Louis people.
I bought my 928S from that area in 2008 and had it shipped to me in Norway.
I have had some contact with the previous owner that owned the car for close to 20 years, but I would like to know more about it.
Does anyone remember my car from that area?
1984 928S (US) manual, Chiffon white with brown leather interior.
Used to be owned by a doctor working at a hospital in St. Louis.

Congrats on the move back to the Lou. Lived out in Ballwin for a year. Need to celebrate being back with some toasted ravioli, Imo's pizza, Ted Drewes and then some gooey butter cake.

Garrity A. Repta many years ago did 944/928 repairs in St. Louis around 2001 or so then moved to Salt Lake City and started Motorsports SLC. He would know lots of history for the water cooled cars in that area. Dave Loomis is also involved now.

If y'all decide to do a CoMo event, I do have Mizzou season tickets and would be down to join during a home game weekend! And I'm sure I could arrange a tailgate area. It would be pretty neat to have a tailgate full of 928s. Maybe we can show up the custom 911s with black and gold tiger stripes that are at every game!

Welcome Murhover.
Ballwin's a nice area, not too far from me in Fenton.
I'd be in for a Fall gathering.
That'd give me time to fix a "few" things.

I lived in Kirkwood from 64 - 82. UMSL grad. Haven't been back in years.
Maybe we could get a DFW 928 road trip started!
MIZZOU in the fall would be nice!

I grew up across the river in Jersey county, very rural at the time.
I remember there was one Porsche, it was a guards red 944.
Driven by a dentist's kid, we all thought he was the luckiest guy on the f'ing planet. Pretty funny memory.

I'm in Columbia, although only one of my 928s is here (the 87.) Would be happy to host a get together, but I travel a lot, so we'd have to keep that in mind!
