Congrats Allen.
You now own the first 928 I drove. It was early Spring '09 when I was down in Wichita visiting Marc. The Story I got was this was a special order car for Dr. Whitaker through Art Bunker Porsche Audi, Overland Park, KS.
Beautiful ride, enjoy. Oh, and you're welcome to bring it back to Kansas any time.

And of course search here for "Zyclamrot", as far as I know it is the only car that color in the states.

Cheers, Jim

Zyclamrot is German for Cyclamen Red, a flower that grows in various red-ish hues.

Google translate agrees ... but only if I put a 'k' in the name. Paging Nicole.

I told midnight blue was the right color for a 928? Yes?
A big mistake, this color is way better... Now it is my favourite one.
A really excellent buy!

Both can be right if the flower is named for Vampire Blood Red.

Zyc is on its way to its new caretaker and home. Many thanks again to Greg Brown, Mark Anderson, Rob Edwards, Jim and Susie Corenman, Paul Champagne, Hans ser Vaas and many others on their amazing efforts and help in making the very special 928 even more remarkable.

I'd be lying if I didn't admit to shedding a wee tear as the truck rolled away. Great cars, deserve great owners. Zyc is certainly getting a new one.
