Certainly sounds like all the attendees had a great time, and seemed to enjoy the beauty of the surroundings in that part of Canada. Seeing the pictures brings back memories of my trips there, and adds slightly to my disappointment that we couldn't get to this event.

Me and Chris made it back home to Oregon yesterday (Monday) afternoon. I want to thank Malcolm, Rodger, Laura, Mercedes, and any others for organizing this great event. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The venue at Kananaskis was superb and the Canadian Rockies are incomparable. Our drive there and return was uneventful other than enjoying the lack of constraints on driving speed. Montana has great roads too. The GT 6.5 Stroker ran well with no problems. I realized I had driven it about 36k miles now since the Devek rebuild. It still runs smoothly and no discernible oil use during the nearly 2k mile round trip. Devek dual disk clutch is solid and no adjustment needed since new. Overall a great package.

how far can you drive without an Alternator?
We got the S4 home tonight for no other reason than Daphne and I ended up with 4 vehicles at the event.
The car started and ran flawlessly, no a/c despite +30c temps, no radio/tunes; everything switched off except I had the windows and sunroof down on start up...........distance 145kms with no alternator, I had Toms in the back and the wires secured by tie wraps........why, see post 238.
Try that with a modern Porsche

Sharks on Ice was held at an Incredible Venue. I appreciate each and every one of the Great People that attended the event. Thank you so much to Malcolm and Daphne for putting the event together.
Thank you to the 928 Owner’s Club, 928sRus and Malcolm for their very generous support of the event. Malcolm went above and beyond to make sure everyone had plenty of souvenirs from the event, which was very special and greatly appreciated by everyone.
Thank you Roger for the opportunity for me and Mercedes to go to this event and “work” - it was the best time at work Ever!
Colin and Jim did a Great Job during the Tech Sessions and Rob put together a Great Run on Saturday. I don't think I would ever need to rebuild a steering rack, nor shark tune, but in my opinions both sessions were very well prepared for and presented. It was all a Great Team Effort to pull off such a Great weekend.
The Boundary Ranch was a beautiful venue for the Car Show. The lush green grass with the mountains in the backdrop was Gorgeous. Congratulations to all the Winners!
AND Thank YOU Mercedes for taking care of me after I broke my ankle and being patient at the DFW airport when the security guy kept taking off with me in a wheelchair and speeding away without Mercedes leaving me waving my arms and body around like Robot from Lost in Space telling him to slow down for my friend. Grrr. The Canadian security guy that wheeled me around was wayyy nicer and more friendly than the guy at DFW.
I have many more pics I need to upload to my photobucket account (username Mila301).

Broke your ankle? Sorry to hear that , I wish you a speedy recovery . I understand the wheelchair thing in airports . Last month I had my wife and both her parents in wheelchairs going through Heathrow airport .

Laura,
SO sorry to hear you broke your ankle. Was it an 'on the job' injury??? Better check Roger's 'workwoman's comp'!!! (Ha). Anyway, I'm glad to hear that the airport personnel were very helpful in getting you safely back home. Speedy recovery, and glad you enjoyed the event and surroundings.

Laura,
We were so sad to hear about your ankle. Hoping you are on your way to speedy recovery. Maybe you can get special attention for awhile Also, thank you so much for the special attention given to my late registration issues.
