AC, ALT and Power steering belt tension?
I was wondering how to properly tension the belts post timing belt replacement? Would they just be tight with no slack or is there some obscure tool I need to use?

Thanks Leon. And as far as search...run a search on belt tension an see how many hits you get. Asking a question isn't a bad think. While this may be old hat for you, some of us are new to this. Keep that in mind.

A/C & PS belt are standard 'V-belts'. 1cm deflection at the middle.
Alt is a ribbed belt. That puppy has to be rather tight.
I've always used a 90 degree twist. That is, grab the middle of the belt and twist it. If you can turn it past vertical, it's not tight enough.
IIRC, Scott Yoo (Syoo08) found proper tension to be an E natural when plucked (if you read his writeups and know who he is it makes more sense).
