It's been an honor working with you on this project Matt.
I feel privileged to have the chance to work on your very unique 928.
By the way, ND Graphic is not my company name but my vinyl supplier...

I hope i can buy you a beer or two or three..
Well it looks as if i may not have an excuse not to make it to frenzy.
Placement was exact on the crest. It's nice not having those ugly vents on the hood. But i still wonder if there was a benefit.

Thanks 928cs, The 924 Carrera is a dream machine.
I started with door glass like it uses but found it too claustrophobic feeling.
The scooter is cool too MN.
I submerged my cruddy hood hinges in Purple Power de greaser for about 9 days, all i had to do was rinse and oil. They almost look/work like new.
Also I placed the plastic and rubber hood bits in a plastic restorer for a few days. Nothing earth shattering but fun none the less.
Moved the RS back into the shop side of garage, looking forward to driving.
Dog tired from work but i may install the hood tonight.
I'm curious to see it with a nice clean hood.

Thank you Bertrand for the vinyl.
Exactly the '80s look i wanted and great quality.
Wanted to share this with others.
I'm cleaning that hood safety latch in Purple Power,
lightened it a bit too.
We went for an enthusiastic drive into the country,
this car is an absolute blast.
Thanks again BD,
Matt

Matt, The car is looking great! Those decals and small touches really add to the completeness of the overall build. You have skills and vision.
Keep up the excellent work!

You did an excellent job on the small items inside which i didn't show.
Thanks Ken !
I look forward to seeing you Martin !
It is a first draft for he and I but is ready for DE days now.
Thanks, it is only a single outlet now i did away with the duel, it was not needed and therefor un-Porsche like.
The car lives up to its livery, it's very quick, sounds bad-***, handles and brakes very well. It really is much faster in all regards than the lite IROC 3.2 Carrera I made. The 928 makes a great sports car.
I'll find out just how quick it is to 60 mph (with essentially stock US 4.7 L) soon as i plan to buy a device to measure this.
Down the road I want higher compression (need advise as to how high) and better cams (Colins) and that will take care of the '83 RS.
Rather than repaint i will paint the engine bay the same color and will scuff everything to accept a highest quality clear coat.
See many of you at Frenzy
Bertrand, i put the hood Pin warning label on the driver's door frame. That cannot happen again !

Matt,
Your additional gauges - water temp and air/fuel ratio (correct?) - are not easy to keep in sight where they are currently located. I assume, you thought hard about where to locate them and could not think of something better short of redoing the stock instrument cluster.
Since the 928 stock instrument cluster has a water temp. gauge, why did you add another one?
Thanks.
