Default Oil Level Sender

Hi folks, I was about to reassemble my Oil Pan with the new Silicone Gasket when I saw a wire that seems to be disconnected inside the Pan for the Oil Level Sender.

I removed the three bolts that support the Sender to the Oil Pan and cannot remove it to see what is wrong.

How do I remove the Sender from the Oil Pan? Is there any trick?

Any idea if this wire can be reattached, or do I need a new Sender?

Appreciate the help.

Yup. Just a gasket (and whatever glue the PO used) there. Pry it up. slide it out.

Ducman / Gaugeman

Just hit with a Rubber Hammer....came out. Thanks. I guess at times I am just too cautious with her.

The wire is disconnected from under the sender. I'll try to solder it back there.

Thanks

Re-soldered it in place, tested and seems to be working beautifully
Now tomorrow I will continue my saga: finalize Oil Pan and then the (in)famous Motor Mounts

Thanks guys
