cool those boxes are not going to have any fingers left after all of the chip changes.
I hope that the car runs better than it already does

Stan,
I was thinking the same thing on the metal fingers! Certainly not designed for repeated access. Reminded me of the tabs on the radiator end caps.

yes, those boxes could have just been screwed together, but you dont really have to bend all of them closed
NOTE the tabs on the radiator are one time use if your lucky

Hmm.. nice comment - that'd be a good quick mod if you have access to a welder which can weld Alu.

At least on RHD cars, there's space to weld some tabs onto the top cover which align with the mounting screws, so that when the LH is screwed onto its mount, it holds the cover on tight. I'm not familiar with the factory LHD setup for ecu mounting.

I've been on a powdercoating frenzy lately and came within inches of PC'ing the boxes, but I would have lost the OE stickers...

Front Brakes installed using the Perfex Mfg Kit by Ed Standke.
Hats off to Ed through this whole thing. My calipers required shaving 0.251" off the backets to get the pads aligned just right with the rotor and Ed took care of it very quickly and perfectly. Bottom line is his kit let you use GTS calipers, Cayenne 330mm rotors and keep your ABS system, without swapping any front spindles.
I ran the system hard at VIR this weekend and have to say I am impressed.
