Porsche is not now nor ever have been shy about raising prices they were quite proud of being the MOST profitable auto maker.... VW will try to continue that tradition

Exactly, limit part production numbers so price stays high or goes higher to cover increasing costs of producing legacy/classic parts. For that reason, why would anything go NLA. Is there that little demand? I guess the price of the part can go so high though that nobody except the concours guys will buy them, making profits not possible, so only then they make parts NLA. So I guess it's about marking it up so much that they make money, but not so high that nobody will ever buy them, maybe the production costs exceed the maximum price people will pay that will make money. Is that what happens internally that makes parts NLA? The max price no longer covers the cost of production and then some.

many things happen to make parts NLA.....the original manufacturer goes out of business. The dies molds etc. wear out and the capital costs to retool are too high. Or there is simply little or no demand. And yes there is a point where it is too expensive to sell...

Just because it appears on a web site does not mean it's available.

When I started this thread (1/18/2013) we were making new injector wiring harnesses from the firewall forward, with weathertight connectors to attach to that part of the wiring harness under the dash.

We have since discontinued that product. Instead, we now offer a service where we will rebuild an injector wiring harness that you send in to us. This is working much better.

Here is the page that describes the service: https://928motorsports.com/parts/inj...ng_harness.php

Just a personal opinion, I would not trust anything Autoatlanta claims to have. I live within easy driving distance of them, and I'll never spend another dime with them.......... Too many bad experiences.....

I have done a lot of reading on Autoatlanta. After much studying I would pass and call a 928 parts source.
I have not used Autoatlanta, but I have a lot of sources showing bad outcomes. Most being the site saying one thing and real life being another.

I bought an engine harness from Carl and it was top quality. Install was easy and everything attached beautifully. Highly recommended.
