Default fuel pressure gauge leak

Hey guys , I noticed today that my on rail fuel pressure gauge leaked out some of its oil. I bed told a lot before to take it off and I think it's perfect time as my next engine start could have been my last . I'm happy I noticed it as I was wondering why my belts started to squeek all The sudden 4 days ago , it's been dripping. I took picture of how much lower the oil leve is in the gauge.

Oh so my question is, could someone tell me what I have to buy to take it off and plug it with something? I dunno what to buy to put in the place of the gauge,

Yep, scares me too. I will only put mine on for a few minutes at a time, and wont' even drive the car with it installed.

My P.O had one installed for too long, and in the time between agreeing to buy it and picking it up it had leaked and created a small fire on the surrounding cables (!!)

ouch. . .

That is a glycol fluid designed to dampen the needle.

If it was over flowing then the internal piece has a crack and that is when it gets risky.

After 7+ years here on Rennlist it seems as though the fluid filled gauges are the ones that have failed time after time.

I have not seen a single vacuum/air, filled gauge that has failed to date.

My dry "Auto Gage" worked just fine for 3+ years.

That said, I would not leave a wet nor a dry gauge there for anything longer than testing if you want to avoid a potential fire.
