Default another project while I wait !

So while the plastic insert to closely hatch come and while I wait for my father to find his mityvac, he says he has one I'm going to try to fix my headlights. Easiest way to say this is, lights go up fine but will not go down. I'm thinking its the motor or some kind of electrical failure. Dose anyone have a step by step link on how to disassemble everything to due with the lights? The whole headlight, motor ect?
My plan was to clean everything at put it back together to see if it changes. Thanks guys

Make sure the circlip holding the arm of the motor is present otherwise you will need a new radiator.

Makes sense then if you have daddy's credit card your need to improve writing skills is not a high priority..

Ricky, The headlight problem is most likely the relay. I just had the same symptoms with my car and it was the relay. Not cheap, IIRC about $100.00, but 928 Intl is having their 1/2 off sale so don't delay. If you can borow a relay from another 928 it would confirm the problem.

Keep trying, I see a big improvement in your attitude. After you write something be sure to read it back to yourself. A lot of us are guilty of the same mistake.

But that is always followed by bills that need to be paid.

Thanks man, ill order the relay because it wouldn't hurt to get one anyway and ill let u know from there. I'm not a big fan of the pop up lights but it dose make the car unique in my eyes

Take relay out of the panel. Remove the relay cover, clean all the internal contacts with very fine steel wool a stiff cardboard. Don't use a sandpaper or file, it creats groves and reduced contact suface area. The groved will creat arcing and the newly cleanes contact will soon fail.
