Default 'Chocolate' interior photograph request

Does anyone have a photograph of an 1983 era car's interior that they know for sure is 'Chocolate'? Trying to work out what the difference is between 'chocolate' and 'brown',

Thanks for any help.

I don't have any pics, however in dealing w/ new dash, pod, console and other interior parts in "brown".
I selected coffee bean, as there are many brown's some are more red-ish in color.
I'd suggest getting samples and choosing what you like or is the best match.

Thanks for the replies guys. Mark do you know if that interior is called 'Chocolate'?

It looks the same color as mine.

Basically, I bought a seat kit off of an ebay vendor to recover my completely buggered interior. Saw impressive results here on this forum. The ad listed 'Chocolate' and that's what I chose. After I placed my order I noticed that later in the ad they also list 'Dark Brown' as an extra cost.

I've asked them for more info on this and whether I can change my order if my interior isn't 'chocolate' but in fact 'dark brown' but they're not being very helpful.

Anyway, sorry this is really boring. Here's my possibly chocolate possibly dark brown shagged front seats:

brown is one of the colors Blue another which seems to vary from car to car and sometimes inside the same car.....if you are buying covers consider sending them a small piece as a sample or ask them to send you a sample so you see what they have...

Decampos it looks like you have a very similar 1983 928S. You can see my car in this video...

I can only ever remember seeing one brown for that year.

That 84 on Ebay looks to be the same color also (what a nice car!)

buy the one off ebay that Mark linked to, and use the interior from that. It looks to be in pretty good shape

Thanks for the info. I wonder what the deal is with the 'chocolate' moniker. I'm not heard jack from the vendor which is rather disappointing. I guess they'd already dispatched the order and couldn't be arsed to deal with a complication.

That is particularly nice looking and would make a great donor vehicle for sure. I'm not crazy about those chromed wheels though. I'm clearly in the minority on this board in preferring unmodified stock rims.

The one Mark has pointed to has obviously had recovered seats.

Here are pics of mine which are still originals:

Hope to have been of help, good luck!

Oops thanks Dave, I hadn't gone through the details of the ad...wow!
For me the misleading is that no hard plastic seat hinge cover is visible + the seat back cover has zippers, but that is pre-84 models I guess?

You missed my smiley face - that ebay car is a pristine collectable!

I know Ed. I was making an (admittedly unfunny) joke. It is a remarkable example for sure … apart from those gaudy wheels.
