Bwaaa ha ha ha!
I can't believe it. I have been lusting after this particular car for 5 years. Even thought about repainting my red S4 this color. And this week it just fell in my lap. The nicest car I have ever owned. Probably will ever own. Easily $20k or $30 in service records. All the tools, etc. More photos to follow when she is all cleaned up. Every time I drive it I want to laugh. The only GTS on Oahu, possibly in the state. The only coral red GTS? Not sure about the painted center cups, though. Thinking about putting the Carrara III I have on my convertible here instead.

Karl,
Absolutley awesome you lucky SOB.
The wheels were a special factory option and worth keeping. What is the VIN?

Great score! Congrats! Looks like a real beauty, 928 Registry show ONE paint to sample metallic and ZERO Coral Red cars, so I am guessing you are ONE OF ONE! SWEEEEEEET!

I have the title right here. Probably sleep with it under my pillow tonight. WPOAA2927PS815067. Seller said it was a press car. Not sure what that means except that there are many keys. It is in the registry.
http://www.928registry.org/1993-928/...28GTS-5067.htm
although the pictures there do not do it justice.
One unusual thing is that it has a center arm rest for a cell phone (old analog, I would guess). Seller claimed this was a factory option. I have not heard of it, but it looks well enough done that it might be. Phone broke and was thrown away. If it was factory I would love to find the correct phone, even though it would be useless now. If not I will take it back to stock.

Cell phone arm rest was a factory option indeed...
Did someone have the wheels repainted along the way??? The Registry pics show it will silver wheels... I love what it has now though better!

Yes, PO repainted the wheels on 9/27/11 for $732.98. God I love having the records. Wheels are growing on me.
Gotta find a phone then. The other thing is the armrest in the configuration is a much better height than normal.
