Man. Here is receipt.... Dealer charged PO $1331.13 parts and labor to change the plug wires. The mind boggles.

Sunroof delete! That must be the second GTS with(out) that option. Very rare color and options. Great score Karl. I'll have to drop by and see it next time I'm on Oahu. Congratulations.

Dave,

The year of production has nothing to do with the Model year of the car, nor does the year of initial registration (sale) of the car. The "P" in the VIN denotes that this is a '93 MY car. This is a very early car though and a real beauty as well.

Show option 650 (sunroof) but in the pic it does not look like it has a sunroof...

Wow. I get excited just walking into the garage and seeing my old 81 fix r upper. You have to be ecstatic, dreaming about driving all the time and staring into space when others speak to you.

Wholehearted congrats. Truly so NICE!!!!!

Thanks James ... I should take note of the letter decode and not just rattle off the manufacture date ... I've noted that on a few cars.

Just had a look at the registry pics and it shows the sunroof open ... but it sure wasn't obvious in all the other pics and the one Karl posted.

I does indeed have a sunroof, just cannot see it in the pic. Sigh. But at least it works. And I actually kinda like the sunroof, on those warm Hawaiian nights. Too hot during the day.

I note nothing in Tas' post about the cell phone arm rest. Perhaps not factory, or added by the dealer at least?

Option code 293 and 295 are "prepared for telephone"...

May well have been a dealer or PCNA installed item. We have seen that arm rest many times (ok, not many, but more than a few) on 928's and it has always been from the dealer that way.

BTW, Paul Champagne's extended center arm rest does the same thing and is better looking and useful for both driver and passenger and you don't have to put a REALLY OLD phone on it to make it look right or complete! My '92, '94 and '88 all have his arm rest and I tell you I wouldn't change it for anything! SO COMFORTABLE!
