SHARKS IN THE MOUNTAINS 2012 - 928 SPECIALISTS 15th Annual 928 Event - June 1st-3rd
Hi Everyone,
My apologies for the delayed announcement for SITM. A few months ago I found out we had to make a location change this year (long story). I wanted to be completely happy and confident of the new location and arrangements before posting details. Plus, coordinating with both City and County Governments to do what I wanted took longer than I would have liked…but I think it is going to be worth it.
As always, Jeannie and I look forward to seeing everyone that can make it to Shark in the Mountains this year!

A very Special Event for 928 Owners and their families. Lots of 928s, Fun and activities for the WHOLE family.
928 "Shark Discounts" at the Stores and Shops of Banner Elk, NC! 928 Mountain Drives! Tech Help and more!
Sharks in the Mountains is our annual 928 Appreciation Event for the Customers and Friends of David and Jeannie Roberts of 928 Specialists. Admission to Sharks in the Mountains is free to our 928 Friends and supporters, but we ask that you register using the Registration Form at http://www.928sitm.com to aid us in our preparations.

Can't wait to see you and everyone else too!!
The Event field is in downtown BANNER ELK, NOT at Beech Mountain like the past 2 years.
The new location is just minutes from the Hotel and there is a LOT more to do in Banner Elk than there was at Beech Mountain.

Burning Brakes
okay I am going to make it this year on my own power. Not being towed there and then back home. Just finishing up the front end (new motor mounts, shocks) and now working on new ac compressor, evaporator valve, condensor. Then off to get the alignment, and new front tires. Room confirmed (snagged it on the way out last year, and will do so again this year!). And only two small repairs to make before the voyage... e-brake engagement and if I'm feeling bold, power steering.
Does anyone have the sharktuner manual printed out they could bring with them? I'd like to peruse it but not on a computer screen.

Funny, when I booked my room Monday night I was told that it was the last room. The reason I'm bringing this up is I was told that I would be booked into a less than desirable room (which was OK). If there are more rooms available I will call tonight to see if I can get my room changed to something less "pet friendly"
