Default Porsche luggage for 928 (not Weissach!)

I know Porsche offered soft luggage for the Weissach, but in seeing pictures, I'm not too impressed. Would be kinda cool to have a few fitted box type luggages designed to fit perfectly in the hatch - something more like the MB Gullwing luggage sets.

Paul? Is that something you can "create".

Found this with a quick search and seems to be exactly what I was thinking of... Don't know the costing but something made for 928's with 928 markings, etc. sort of like how this fourm came up with the 928 watch...would be cool if priced well.

Anyone in the luggage bizz here?

Nice options. But I'm looking for hard cases rather than soft. Something taylored, like the link. I've emailed that supplier, but sure they will charge A LOT.

They approached me and asked, if I would be interested in marketing the luggage set here in the US. I was.

However, they needed a minimum quantity that I wasn't comfortable with, and wouldn't have the room to store. In addition, there would have been a challenge with licensing the PORSCHE name and logo for the print - the French Porsche Club was able to do 100 because of their club status, a status I don't have. Currently, I would not be able to handle the licensing process, due to time constraints.

Perhaps Mark or Roger might be interested in solving the licensing issue, organizing a group buy, and storing the rest of what they need to order for minimum quantity. I hope one of them is already on it.

I picked up nesting leather luggage in hong kong a few yrs ago that is a . set of 4...really nice and looks great into the back of the 928. too nice to toss on the airplane carosel but good for weekend getaway stuff. I will go look up the name and maybe we could contact them for some custom stuff....about 500 for the whole set....come to think of it that was in 1990...geez am I loosing it.
