The journey begins - My SE was picked up today for transportation to Southampton.
Beautiful Summers day in Manea as she drives away.

Full tank of gas = 128 UK Pounds = $196

The lady driving looks like a big gal - I wonder how she liked the grip of the sport seats 8>)

Dave you can drive this one when you are here in November - feeling a little nervous about letting you loose in the monster GTS with the RogerBox 8>)

FIFY

I would be honoured to show you how to drive a manual while I'm over ...

... and don't be nervous Rog ... I've only written off 2 road cars and one race car in my whole life.

Picked up the car on Wednesday last and she is sitting in my garage. On the road and fully legal.

Total cost was about $3k - $2300 for RoRo shipping from the UK to Galveston TX including having the car picked up about 150miles from the UK port of Southampton. Broker and customs fees $677. No federalization, no restrictions, no nothing. Car passed its local safety inspection and will have TX tags later this week.
