Road America DE in the Rain 10-13
It was cold, my tires were worn and I was stuck behind a Saleen that really was scared. It wa scary, fun and a hell of a way to develop more car control. A Miata driven by an instructor hit the wall atthe kink before the day ended.
As a side note, do not install Porken's new chips just before an event in the rain, I'd have been better off detuned for acclerating. Those things are great!

Rain is the great equalizer. It quickly reveals the limitations of both man and machine. It is also a great way to practice and learn car control. Glad to see another owner tacking these great cars. Thanks for sharing.

+928 to you for doing it.
SELF control is 1/2 of racing..period. And you need it in the wet.
Also..the wet provides -the- most high-value educational experience that a DE day can provide.
I spent a whole winter once specifically driving to wet track weekends all over CA with a mentor...learned so much spending SO little on consumables compared to dry conditions...and it pays off later.

Tires last a LONG time on a wet track.
