You need to look at the circuit diagram in th WSM. What MY car are you working on ?

One end of the coil of the stock relay is supplied with ignition switched 12v. The other end of the coil of the relay is grounded by the LH ECU.

However it is not clear where you intend to obtain the signal you show on pin 86 of your new relay. Is this from the existing FP relay on the CE ? If you obtain it from the contact, then your diagram is correct, and you will have a 12v signal. If you obtain the signal from the coil connection of the existing relay, the it will be a signal that is ground when FP is to be energised.

You must be very clear which way you are connecting the new FP relay, as you risk damaging the LH ECU if you get it incorrect !

Haltec ? Would have helped if you said this in your OP.

Check the handbook for the Haltec . It should tell you the type of output stage that is available to drive the FP relay.

It will either be high side or low side switching.

By standard convention the battery supply should be hooked to terminal 30 and the load should therefore be connected to terminal 87. as for the trigger 85 should be - and 86 should be +. You will need to look at the Haltech wiring diagram to figure out how to wire the trigger correctly, as it depends on whether the Haltech grounds the circuit to initiate the fuel pump or whether it supplies voltage to trigger the fuel pump.

Here is the link to an excerpt from DIN 72552 with some of the relay terminal designations for reference.
