Default Your Next Car After the 928?

As I own a GTS now, there is really nowhere else to go forward realtive to the 928 brand.

My car is now 17 years old.

Inevitably, the 928 will fall by the wayside just due to old age. So I've been thinking of what to get next - probably in the next few years.

I'm currently watching prices on previously owned Panamaras

and Audi R8s.

Any other suggestions on cars that come even close to the refinement of the 928 GTS?

The GT-R is an abomination and should be an affront to ALL car enthusiasts. While it is a technological terror to say the least the car is embarrassingly ugly and should be banned from streets. There is NO REASON at all in this day and age to make car that is ugly. No reason! I am sure some will say they REALLY like the way the car looks, but like the PanAm the ball was dropped in the worst kind of way (almost the polar opposite of the PanAm actually) and there is just no excuse...

Get a Maser GranTurismo or a DB9! Either would be a perfect upgrade and replacement for a GTS...little else would do. Maybe an '01 or newer 911 Twin Turbo...

I'll take your GTS when you let it go by the wayside in a few years, that would be my choice for my next car after my 928 S3. Just keep it in good repair please

Under the same logic, should we not get a new Randy?

Why not keep the teenager you have?

Another 928. Like James I'll more than likely keep whatever 928(s) I end up with. What can I say, I learned from the guy!

As for another car, I'll probably get another Corvette probably (C6Z) but more than likely a 996TT.

Wife will be getting rid of the Cayenne soon for a MkV GTI or R32.

Sorry guys, just facing reality. I don't have the garage space to keep more than 2 cars at a time.

One day you'll all put down the Kool Aid.

Maserati Coupe.

Maybe a Gran Turismo or a CTS-V in a couple years. CL65 might be
Interesting also.

I don't plan to sell the 928s though.
