Default Oil pressure sender trouble shoot.

There are numerous threads on this and i was going to add this to one of them but...this video may get lost in another thread at some point.

My oil pressure gauge has not worked for ages. Finally got fed up and decided to tackle it. I started by testing continuity on the wiring all the way back to the pod...via the 14pin connector on the jump post...the CES (all the wiring behind the pax foot board). Turns out it was the sender after all. No bad grounds...no swapped wires..etc etc. just a bad sender.

Before i put a new one in i tested it all by hooking up a regulated air supply...video shows it the best.

hope this helps in the future.

basic video..

edit..i hit reply instead of new topic...
