Most out of towners arrive during Friday and swing by 928 International for last minute items and to beat the Saturday rush. Then they check into Joseph's hotel. A special parking area and car wash is provided. Often a number of locals will greet them in the hotel bar. Some head out for dinner others just drink 
and the hotel serves good food.
Saturday is @ 928 International and many arrive very early to get prime parking spaces and look at all the cars as they arrive, 9 AM is usually the official start. Mark has always served a nice BBQ lunch at the event and with some service/tech sessions, it fills the day. Most then regroup to the hotel. I believe that this year the banquet is being held at the hotel. Always is a good time !
Sunday AM Rob Edwards has laid out a nice drive in the local mountains, they meet up at 928 International in the morning....guessing 9 AM ish and prceed to convoy to the hills. Always an impressive sight seeing that many 928s rolling down the highway.
The beauty of the event is that what many would consider an obsession seems perfectly normal Enjoy it is always a fun time.

Despite thousands of dollars spent to make this trip happen for me I knew it was to good to be true! I have been sick for the last two days and am still sick. There is just no way I will have the energy to drive this thing solo... Even if I am well tomorrow I just have to pull the handle now knowing it is best for my health to stay close to home and recover.. I thought it was strep throat at first, then I thought it was allergy (neither of which really made much sense to me) and now I am pretty sure it is a "summer" cold.
I will REALLY miss you all and I had really looked forward to showing off BLU82 as well!
You guys have fun and eat some BBQ for me!
I still plan on being at 3rd Coast and then with some luck 2012 OCIC and Sharktoberfest next year!

It has just worked out that Cheryl & I will be attending this year. After a 3 year absense we are both looking forward to seeing everyone again. One or two more 928's for the show.

Always so in the past. 100+ cars and people. Usually a few available for sale too. People come without their cars too. No reason why you shouldn't have the same option. Just my humble opinion.

HOLY CRAP!!! This has probably already been covered, but I just found out twenty minutes ago I get to go this year. Are the windshield people going to be there again? If so I need their number pronto! Again sorry for the redo. And thanks!

Just in case anyone else needs one to, I couldn't get that number to work. Doesn't mean it's wrong, It just didn't work for me. (877)452-7755 worked fine.

Well, Started out at 5am this morning and ran into chain controls on I-80 over the pass. No trailers allowed. Went back home and am now at work. We will give it a try around noon and see what happens.
