Just got my schedule cleared out and we are off to Sharktoberfest again. Looking forward to seeing everyone this year. We will be leaving AZ. on Weds.Oct 5 and spending a couple days in Palm Springs. Early Friday morning to LA LA land for the day, and should be in Diamond Bar Friday evening. see you all in a couple weeks. Kevin

I am heading down also. I will stay Thurs and Fri for sure. Might head home Sat. eve. I just installed my lift and am having a blast with it.

All you PNW 928ers are welcome to take advantage (of the lift) as long as I learn something new.

I think it's safe to say that there is no culture that won't fit right in to the SoCal melting pot. There's already a little bit of everything. A little more will barely be noticed.

If you want culture, buy a tub of yogurt. Otherwise, come on and know that you'll fit right in. Long hair or none, thick or thin, Georgia or Canuck-speak, you'll find there are more than a few here already. With six bazzilion people on the roads every hour of every day, every novelty is common in SoCal.

Most out of towners arrive during Friday and swing by 928 International for last minute items and to beat the Saturday rush. Then they check into Joseph's hotel. A special parking area and car wash is provided. Often a number of locals will greet them in the hotel bar. Some head out for dinner others just drink and the hotel serves good food.
Saturday is @ 928 International and many arrive very early to get prime parking spaces and look at all the cars as they arrive, 9 AM is usually the official start. Mark has always served a nice BBQ lunch at the event and with some service/tech sessions, it fills the day. Most then regroup to the hotel. I believe that this year the banquet is being held at the hotel. Always is a good time !
Sunday AM Rob Edwards has laid out a nice drive in the local mountains, they meet up at 928 International in the morning....guessing 9 AM ish and prceed to convoy to the hills. Always an impressive sight seeing that many 928s rolling down the highway.
The beauty of the event is that what many would consider an obsession seems perfectly normal Enjoy it is always a fun time.
