boge vrs bilstein
I know they are a million comments re the difference between the two, but I still have a question.
I have bilstein on the car now. They seem fine, no leaks etcetera. Before reading in this forum, I bought the boge shock replacement from Pellican thinking that they were direct replacement,...not. I have a set of Bilstein HD shocks on another car and I know they are GREAT shocks.
I am thinking of going one of three ways.
Replacing the bilsteins I have on now with new bilsteins,
or just putting the old bilsteins back on without revalving/rebuilding em. (I just hate the thought of 2 weeks of not getting the car back on the road. .
lastly, buying the bits needed to go with the boge shocks.
BTW, I am also rebuilding the UBJ, and replacing the LBJ, installing solid rack bushings, and new front sway bar mounts.
My questions are: can I recoup some money back by selling the old bilsteins?
Are they worth investing in (bilsteins). I like a tight ride, not race ride, lol.

FWIU, the Bilsteins are not avialable and ship dates have slipped multiple times, latest they "_SAY_" is July 2011 though most seem to feel that it dubious at best...

LBJ-Gee, I thought that was universally recognizable, lol. But I think I will worry about rebuild later. There are many things left to do, and I would like to drive the damn thing. Figure there will be months of cold ****ty weather here, maybe redo the interior a little then, dress up engine compartment. That type of time consuming stuff.
I did have a little vibration at around 65mph and above which I sure is partly do to the ball joints. We'll see after I get it back together....
